Depending on where you live, this is prime season for students and families to go on spring break, especially if you live in the northern part of the U.S. or Canada.
That means many people will be traveling south to warmer climates and enjoying tropical beverages while others will opt for a “staycation.”
We can help you add a little sweet spice to your everyday breakfast or lunch to make it a bit special while your friends and neighbors are away. Try this recipe for Horchata Smoothie!
A popular Mexican drink
Horchata traces its roots back to Spain and North Africa, but is popular in several places including Central and South America and Mexico. The Mexican version is typically made with rice milk, sweetened and seasoned with cinnamon.
In this recipe we add cinnamon to a BodyKey by Nutrilite™ French Vanilla Meal Replacement Shake and blend it with a few other ingredients to create the creamy beverage that can take the place of breakfast or lunch.
It’s not a ticket to a beach vacation, but it will bring a taste of the Mexican Riviera to your staycation.
