Are you looking for something a little different to throw into your smoothie? Try some goji berries.
This reddish-orange fruit, also known as wolfberry, is native to China and is packed with nutrients, including vitamins A and C, fiber, iron, zinc, protein and plenty of antioxidants. Because of that, many people see it as a superfruit.
It also has a long history in Traditional Chinese Medicine for its perceived health benefits. No matter why you choose it, it packs a nutritious, tangy punch to your smoothie recipe and offers a nice change from traditional berries.
Here’s a recipe using the BodyKey by Nutrilite™ Strawberry Meal Replacement Shake. Not only do you get an interesting, antioxidant-filled flavor, it also serves as a quick, nutritious meal. Give it a try!
